About Us

The finance department, created by the decision of the Nakhchivan Revolutionary Committee dated October 10, 1920, operated under that name until 1924, and was transformed into the People's Commissariat of Finance by the decision of the Central Executive Committee of the Nakhchivan SSR dated January 18, 1924.

By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Nakhchivan ASSR dated March 30, 1946, the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan ASSR was renamed the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan ASSR.

Pursuant to the decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated January 21, 1998 No. 47-I, the Ministry of Finance and Economics of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was established on the basis of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

This ministry was transformed into the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic by the decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated May 1, 2001 No. 10-II FR.
