The Ministry of Finance discussed cooperation with the Slovak ambassador

On March 11, First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Karimov met with Elchin Gasimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Azerbaijan. The meeting discussed the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia and the prospects for development. A.Karimov noted that relations between the two countries are developing within the framework of the Strategic Partnership established by the Joint Declaration signed on May 7, 2024, and that high-level contacts and mutual visits make a significant contribution to further strengthening the relationship. At the same time, A.Karimov, addressing economic cooperation issues, emphasized that there are great prospects for expanding mutual trade relations, and Denisa Sakova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and Minister of Economy, expressed hope that the planned visit of Azerbaijan will add to the development of economic cooperation. The interest of Slovakia in the restoration and reconstruction activities in the liberated territories was also appreciated during the meeting and its support for the construction of the school in Aghdam district
