The Ministry of Finance held further trainings on the implementation of a fruitful budget mechanism

On March 10-12, the Ministry of Finance held the theoretical and methodological training on the general curriculum on “Implementation of the new budgetary mechanism in Azerbaijan and capacity building in this field”. Approximately 60 representatives from 40 government agencies with activities in the sectors included “Health” and “Culture, art, information, physical education, youth policy and other activities of this kind” new to the reform took part in the trainings held in order to expand the scope of transition reforms to the resultant budget mechanism and increase capacity. During the trainings, topics on the fundamentals of designing and monitoring strategic and budgetary plans for sectors for modules of the training program structured by the training team of the Centre for the Development of the Ministry of Finance's Medium-term Cost Framework were taught. The teaching process was based on presentations and practical exercises, and participants were asked questions.
