The Staff of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan Commemorate National Leader Heydar Aliyev

On May 10, a commemorative event was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of modern independent Azerbaijan and the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people. The staff of the Ministry of Finance first laid a wreath at the bust of the Great Leader in the Ministry’s administrative building and honored the cherished memory of the outstanding statesman with deep respect and reverence. The event highlighted National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s unparalleled services in strengthening Azerbaijani statehood, advancing the country’s socioeconomic development, establishing modern traditions of governance and safeguarding the nation’s independence. It was emphasized that his rich legacy of statehood and exemplary service to the Azerbaijani people would always be preserved and carried forward. The Ministry’s staff then visited the Alley of Honor, where they laid a wreath and flowers at the tomb of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to his enduring memory. The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also honored, and flowers were laid at her tomb.
