Elvin Alimardanov

He was born in 1990 in Kangarli district.

In 2012, he graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in "Regulation of Economy" from Nakhchivan State University. In 2016, he completed his master's degree in the same specialty with honors. Since 2019, he has been continuing his doctoral studies in "Organization and Management of Enterprises".

He began his career in 2013 as a leading adviser at the Kangarli District Executive Power. Later, he worked as a senior state tax inspector at the Kangarli District Tax Office.

In 2014-2018, he worked as a leading accountant at "Nakhchivangaz" Production Association, and in 2018-2022 as sector head - chief accountant at the Nakhchivan City Executive Power.

In 2022-2024, he served as the head of the Economics Department at the DOST Digital Innovations Center of the Sustainable and Operational Social Provision Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and later as deputy head of the Finance and Accounting Department at the Sustainable and Operational Social Provision Agency.

By the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated June 7, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

In addition to his main professional activity, in 2014-2022 he engaged in pedagogical activity in the field of finance at Nakhchivan State University and "Nakhchivan" University.

In 2021-2023, he served as chairman of the Audit Committee of "Nakhchivanbank" Open Joint Stock Company, and in 2023-2024 as an expert in international standards and legislation at the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan for organizing professional accountant certification exams.

He is the author of several scientific articles, curriculum programs, conference materials, and a textbook titled "Accounting" in the field of finance and accounting.

He holds numerous local and international certificates. He graduated from diploma programs in international financial reporting standards, internal audit, financial management, and financial analysis (IFRS, PIA, FM, and PFM) of the Institute of Certified Financial Managers of the UK (ICFM UK). He has been a member of the institute since 2025.

He is a member of the New Azerbaijan Party.

He is married and has two children.
