An event titled “Year-end accountability of financiers and accountants” was held

On December 29, within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”, an event titled “Year-end accountability of financiers and accountants” was held by the Financial Training Center under the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The event, held with the aim of explaining the current requirements for the preparation and submission of financial reports, eliminating the shortcomings, as well as strengthening financial discipline and accountability in budget organizations, was attended by employees responsible for the financial and accounting field of central and local executive bodies operating in the autonomous republic, as well as employees of the structural divisions of the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the relevant field, invited specialists and experts in the field of finance and taxation. At the opening ceremony of the event, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the sons of the Motherland who died for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. Speaking at the official part, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elvin Alimardanov noted that timely and correct submission of financial reports in budget organizations in accordance with the requirements of the legislation is of great importance in strengthening financial discipline. Then, Director of the Financial Training Center Tural Mammadzadeh made a speech and stated that the main goal of holding the event was to explain the existing regulatory and legal requirements for the preparation and submission of financial reports, eliminate the shortcomings, and increase the professional knowledge of financiers and accountants. Within the framework of the event, expert presentations were held on the rules for preparing financial reports and tax reporting, and the mechanisms for applying regulatory documents were explained. Arif Ataxanli made speeches on the topic of “Preparation of Financial Reports”, and Aykhan Alekperov made speeches on the changes made to the Tax Code, discussions were held on practical issues, and questions from the participants were answered. At the end of the event, individuals who distinguished themselves in their interaction with the Ministry of Finance were awarded in various nominations.
