An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was organized by the Ministry of Finance of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
An international conference on "Heydar Aliyev and the role of financial policy in ensuring sustainable development in Azerbaijan" was organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. First, bouquets of flowers were placed in front of the monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in Nakhchivan, and the Heydar Aliyev Museum was visited.
The event held at the Nakhchivan Business Center was attended by the employees of the ministry, students studying in relevant specialties, economists and scientists from the Republic of Turkey and our country who joined the event online. The memories of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the children of the Motherland who were martyred for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and those who died as a result of the earthquake in the brotherly Republic of Turkey were commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.
Delivering the opening speech, Deputy Minister Hasan Ismayilov said that the formation of Azerbaijan's economic development model and ensuring financial stability is connected with the name of the Great Leader. The strong pillars of a newly independent state could only be built on sound economic foundations. That is why Heydar Aliyev took serious and concrete steps in these directions for Azerbaijan during both periods of his leadership to the supreme power, and many strategies for the development of the national economy were prepared and implemented. Today, a solid foundation has been created for the modern economy of Azerbaijan, which is developing on a rising line.
It was emphasized that within the series of events held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic launched the "Financial Awareness" campaign from today. Within the framework of the action, a team of employees of the ministry was formed to answer questions about the salary of employees working in organizations financed from the budget of the autonomous republic, labor payment norms and other financial issues. Any person can personally apply to the ministry and get answers to their questions regarding the relevant financial issue that interests them.
The moderator of the event, director of the Financial Education Center under the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, associate professor Mehriban Imanova spoke on the topic "The financial policy regulated by the national leader Heydar Aliyev is the successful foundation of our path to progress", and the meeting of the demand for internal financial resources of Azerbaijan in the initial stage of the transition period and the difficult situation created in the budget noted that the successful financial policy implemented by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev had a great role in its elimination.
Mubariz Bagirov, professor of the Department of Finance and Financial Institutions of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Doctor of Economic Sciences, gave a speech on "Heydar Aliyev and the modern results of the investment strategy" and spoke about the success of the investment policy founded by the Great Leader and continued by the President of the country.
Professor Haluk Tanrıverdi of Istanbul University, who joined the conference via the online platform, said in his report "The role of the world-famous politician Heydar Aliyev in the development of Azerbaijan-Turkey economic and financial relations" that the relations established by the great personality with the Republic of Turkey are of great importance for both countries, and necessary for the elimination of Nakhchivan's economic difficulties. emphasized that comprehensive support, including free financial assistance, plays an important role.
Head of the Ministry's Budget Department, Ibrahim Valiyev, spoke on the topic "Economic reforms that started in Nakhchivan and ensuring financial stability is connected with the name of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev."
